“All will be gold” is a part of a limited series of watercolor paintings featuring gold leaf. “All will be gold” symbolizes the beauty of the on going life cycle of a rose including the flaws or aging petals. Like the Japanese art of kintsugi, this series uses gold to glorify the history of an object; instead of hiding a flaw, a break or an element of the object that is aging the gold calls attention to it making it beautiful. The history of an object, rose or woman…both the good and bad ….are the story of what they are today.
