It’s actually really simple. Purchase a commission below in the size you choose. Then you just email me a photo…the best quality photo you have of the subject matter and I paint it in the size you request. Boom! Ok there are a few more details that need to be discussed so we will discuss when you would like your piece in hand and I will fill my schedule accordingly. Depending on my booking time and current calendar the date you choose may not be available. CHOOSE YOUOR PHOTO. First things first…I need a photo to paint from, so choose a good quality (not blurry photo) of your subject matter and have it on hand to email me when requested. Screenshots are no bueno so don’t do it. Downloaded images from Facebook are almost as bad so don’t do that either. Remember I will paint what you send me and will make some reasonable adjustments to your original image but others are not always feasible or may incur added cost for you.

"Reasonable requests…. “please paint the flowers on the bush by the front door of my home pink instead of purple.”

Unreasonable: “please use these 5 photos and combine them: the hair from the first one, smile from the second but teeth from the third, outfit from the fourth and background from the last but please make it summer not winter and I’d like to look a little tanner and younger.

PICK A SIZE. I offer paintings in 4 standard framing sizes to make your life easy. No I do not frame art for you…I love you but please don’t ask. If you would like to inquire about a custom size please feel free to email me, in short yes I do offer custom sizes but please remember framing (by you) will be more costly as it will require a custom frame. I also offer watercolor pieces that do NOT require framing as they are painted on a mounted board and varnished, keep in mind these often appear more like an oil painting and have a glossy finish once varnished and they take longer due to the varnishing process so factor that into your decision.
